We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

New Glasses!
Doesn't she look sweet? :) She got new glasses yesterday. Good thing, since she completely broke her old ones. They get so bent and mangled. When she doesn't want them on, she grabs them with her thumb and forefinger and pushes them up onto her head. If they slip back down on her face, she grabs them, pulls them off, and throws them. Needless to say, the glasses don't usually like all that manhandling. ;) These new frames are super bendable and twistable and fairly unbreakable! Good thing, our last frames only lasted 6 months before totally breaking, same with the ones before. Hopefully this will be Peanut-Proof!

what brand?
Hi Chaney,
They are made by EasyFlex. Check out this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRJVISod4Jg
I was going to get her Myraflex glasses, but I think they look babyish. She *IS* almost 7 after all. ;)
She is so precious and yes these glasses are sooooo sweet! All those curls and those eyelashes remind me sooooo much of my Bella.
Cute glasses for a cute girl.
OH, so cute! We could co-author this post, really!
