We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

First picture from school
The princess is doing great in school! One of my favorite things about her teacher is that she tries to send a picture to my cell phone every day. She photos Emily doing activities or just being cute. I love getting these texts! This is the picture I got yesterday. It had a message that said "She's happy today, and crawling a lot". :)

AHHHHH I love this! Look at the delight on her face! Fantastic. Isn't it so comforting to know that while she's gone she's so completely happy? Nice to know our kids are in good hands when they aren't in our own.
Wow, what an awesome teacher to do that!! And such a simple thing to do that makes us feel so much relief. We seriously hang on every word written or spoken to us about Samantha's day every day. A photo would be so fantastic!
oh so sweet, that is great
Too cute! What a thoughtful teacher she has!!! xo
All my grandchildren are starting back to school and their Mama's are very happy! :-)
Look at that girl go! I can't wait to go Disneyland with you again. Can you go the week before Thanksgiving?
Wow! What a great teacher! Emily looks so happy!
Look at that smile! She's lovin it!!!
You're so lucky to have such a great teacher!
Hooray for how happy she is at school! I'm a tad jealous of your picture texts, I might have to make a little suggestion to Chloe's teacher!!! ;)
