Holy crap.

We're on the road to AZ. A two lane in each direction road.

It just happens to be completely shut down due to an accident. And it's almost 90 degrees out, but I have only a quarter tank of gas so we can't sit with the AC on.

Life flight helicopter just landed up ahead.

Taking a moment to be thankful we are only inconvenienced, and not involved.

We're moving in the emergency lane now!

Traffic jams make me grumpy! But, stopping to be thankful that it wasn't you, sure can change my attitude quickly! Be safe! Hope you have quick travels the rest of the way! Hugs!!!

Had someone drop due to heat exhaustion or something else while walking just outside our subdivision once--closing the only road in or out with the life flight helicopter. That cleared soon and we were only 10 min. late to M's swim lesson. And I was glad to be 10 min. late because my neighbor ended up being okay.
Hope you've gotten to a gas station and all comfortable and cool!

Oh man, be careful! On our way down there was a huge accident in Nevada. Cars were at a dead stop for miles. People were out of their cars and walking around. I'm so glad we weren't on that side!

I love your attitude of thankfulness: "inconvenienced and not involved."
