I hate waiting. I like planning, having a schedule, and knowing what's going to happen, and when.
Right now I wait (impatiently) for the Mitrofanoff procedure to be authorized so we can schedule it. The urologist is booked until September, but is going to put us at the top of his cancellation list.
I want to do the surgery NOW. Today. Tomorrow. Not in two or three months! I want to do it and get it over with. Move on.
In the meantime, I want for them to call me with information.
Did I mention that I hate waiting?
We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

Ugh, I so know how you feel. I'm so sick of waiting for Boston I could scream. I have to have things planned in advance to.
