We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

I am a texting addict and I need help.
I have had my Blackberry for almost two years, and I thought I had unlimited texting. Every month our bill varies anywhere from $150-250! Quite a window. However my husband pays the bills, so he has never called to find out what is going on. I am switching from AT&T to Sprint next week and getting a new phone, so they pulled up my current account. Turns out I have only 200 texts a month, and then I am charged ten cents each after that. I just looked up my current bill online. The billing cycle started on Nov. 14th, so it's been 10 days. I am at 462 texts. Shoot! No wonder my bill is SO expensive!!
So you know what I did? I sent texts to everyone telling them not to text me this week. Duh, that took another chunk of change to send them.
I need Texting Anonymous!

This made me laugh!! Not the part about your large phone bill, of course. Just about how many texts you send. Dang girl, you are a texting fool!! ; )
My sisters were here over the weekend and both of them text. They laugh at me b/c I don't. At all. They think I am old school (one of them is only 20 yo). I laughed at them b/c they are so fast when they do it. I can't even type on the computer that fast! Texting: some get it, some don't.
Maybe you should start the first chapter of TA. "Hi, my name is ________ and I'm a texting addict. Good luck with that. ; )
Have a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving!!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! I'm an addict, too. But my Tim has me signed up for the unlimited texts...!
We have unlimited texting and our bill still varys a lot. I used to hate texting. But its so nice when I don't have time to sit and talk so texting is quicker.
I don't even know how to text! I guess I'm behind the times! Oh well, sounds like this might be a good thing! I don't need another addiction anyway! :)
Hope you have a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving! HUGS!!!
You are funny. Cell phones are SO expensive. It seems like they get you for everything. I hope the bill is reduced now that you know. :)
That's funny. I don't text much because I found that e-mailing and using the web part of the phone on facebook is much cheaper. I don't think I could live without my smart phone. It definitely is a necessity - I don't care what others say. It has kept this mom sane!
