We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

Microcephaly Convention
It's two months away, and we are officially registered for the Convention for Children with Microcephaly. I am so excited, I can't wait! I was showing Monkey the hotel on the computer this morning. The pool looks amazing. We are all excited! The car drive is going to stink, and it's going to be hot, but I am sooooo jazzed. :)

Hoping we'll see you there?!? :)
Sounds like fun!
I'm so happy that you are able to participate in this! I bet you will have a great time and come away with tons of great info and friends!
Have fun at the conference
Absolutely we would love to for you to have the Britax Special Traveler carseat. Junior no longer uses it is just hanging out in the garage collecting dust(the only piece it does not have is the little pillow insert for the head. It is super padded though so if peanut has some head control this won't be an issue. It is in perfect shape. Would love to get to meet you guys, woohoo.
