I never got around to posting about this, so I must do it now! We received the most beautiful blanket in the mail from an incredible mommy named Lacey. Her son Jaxson is an adorable little 3 year old with Down Syndrome and other issues. He is absolutely cute and definately a fighter!
Somehow in her spare time, Lacey manages to make these Blankets For Babies. I wish I could describe to you how soft and cuddly it is! And the trim, oh the trim is GORGEOUS. Of course, I happen to think that the little girl sitting on this blanket is the most gorgeous thing alive as well. :)

Love the pictures, Peanut has such a great smile. The blanket is wonderful, Junior received one from Lacey and Jax also, they are very special.
What an adorable blanket but not nearly as adorable as the peanut sitting on it.
What a thoughtful idea!
PS- those piggytails are out of this world, and that SMILE!
Hi...I just jumped over to your blog from Jaxson's. I must say that as I was reading your profile, I immediately thought the worst but the moment I clicked on your blog and saw your beautiful little girl, I was amazed at how awesome she is doing with having all of those ailments you described. I have a 14 month old daughter with Ds and we also live in SoCal (Temecula). Whereabouts are you? I look forward to following your journey.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Your daughter is SO cute!!! Wow she has had a hard time! I wonder sometimes why some little one have to go through SO much. We have been there with our daughter Kennedy, too. God knows. I have lots of questions for Him one day!
We are from So. Cal too! (We're in TN now, courtesy of the Army) I grew up in the San Bernardino/Rialto area but my college/married life was in Riverside, then we spent some time up North in Napa Valley too. I miss California. And In-N-Out. LOL
I'm so glad to find your blog.
