We used to revel in the "new perfect" that was our life. Raising a beautiful girl with multiple special needs showed us that "perfect" is all in our minds. Emily's life was perfect. It was happy, it was brilliant. She was social, outgoing, silly, and ticklish. Now we are learning to get through life without our "Perfect Peanut" in it. This is most certainly NOT a new kind of perfect.

Quick update
We are still in the hospital. I will try and get on here tomorrow to post an update.
I'm sorry to hear this and am sending good thoughts and prayers your way, for what it's worth. Hang in there and know that many, many people are here for you --
I'm just catching up now...I'm SO sorry your sweet girl is having such a hard time!!! I hope you can find some answers soon and get that beautiful child back home and healthy. (((hugs)))
Ay yi yi. I've been checking your blog every day, hoping to see an update, and hoping it's good news or that at least you are out of the hospital. I've been thinking about all of you so much and I know we've never met, but please know I think about your little girl and your family all the time. We say a special little prayer for Emily before dinner every night. Wishing you guys the best, Laura
