Defeat

I don't know what to do. Emily got the official denial letter in the mail today for her Sleep Safe bed. How am I supposed to keep my precious girl safe at night? I am just sad and angry. :(

I will announce my giveaway winner tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, but I just want to go take a long shower and cry my eyes out.

So sorry.I wish I had a suggestion for you but we haven't started exploring that yet.

Bella, she is in Texas, just got her's.Shelly, her mom, might be of some help.Even though it is a different state. But something tells me you already know the in's and out's of these things.Praying it can still, someway, somehow happen.

Hope the shower helped.

Does Emily have Regional Center services? When Junior was little insurance denied him a hospital bed and Regional Center deemed it medically necessary and purchased it for him. Big hugs

I'm so sorry to hear that! I can't believe Emily would be denied the bed, it just doesn't seem logical!
Praying for a solution to keep Emily safe at night!

well that just sucks! So sorry. It seems the people on the other side of the letter or phone never understand our situation. Can you appeal the letter. Have a Dr. of hers apeal it for you? Good Luck.

How is that possible? Things like that make me SO sad. That's why I feel so fortunate to live where we do because nothing was ever denied. SORRY!

Why on earth would they deny her?? What are their requirements? That's crazy. I'm sorry.

Sorry to hear she isn't getting the bed. Ashlea has a great bed with a hand made frame around it. We bought the bed itself (it is actually a bottom bunk bed) and then someone made the surrounds for only $200. Not sure if this is an option for your, but here is a picture...

You cry your eyes out, sister. Eat some comfort food. Kiss your girl. And try again! That's what we're doing for Wyatt's bath chair. Resubmit, resubmit.....I'm even thinking of sending the insurance company a box of chocolates with his picture or something.

I'm sorry. It just doesn't seem fair, with all the other stuff there is to deal with.

Love, Bree

Why on earth? Did they give a reason?
We're trying to get approved too. Today the Medicaid agent came by and asked some questions, why I chose Sleep Safe and such...I'm not sure what's going to happen. You must appeal!
